David Eakins - Happy Sapien founder

“Stories are the currency of humanity - and I’m using mine to ensure employees don’t go down the difficult path I once walked.

Following 16 successful years as an Art Director in advertising, I experienced a life-changing moment in my personal life. Whilst I was facing a mental health challenge, the lack of proper safeguarding in the workplace compounded my situation, ultimately leading to a moment of crisis - one that could have been disastrous.

That experience shaped my future in ways I never expected. After a seven-year healing journey, I now dedicate the next chapter of my life to revolutionising how workplaces support their employees.

By fostering a culture of learning and collective well-being, I help create stronger, more connected workforces that are better equipped to navigate life’s challenges and continue to perform at their very best.”
